Recently, we told you about our victory at the Transit Tech Lab Accessibility challenge with Evelity. Now, let’s discover all the details of this tremendous project on inclusive mobility!

We asked Damien Brosseau, Head of Okeenea Digital, to lift the veil on all the secrets of Evelity’s implementation in the New York City subway! He also shared with us his unique vision on technology. It just represents a means to an end: enabling users with disabilities to get around in complete autonomy!

At the end of February 2020, we already shared with you our joy of being selected as part of the 2020 Transit Tech Lab in New York City with our Evelity wayfinding app for people with disabilities. Today we are proud to announce that we launch a pilot on the NYC subway system. After going through all the stages of a tough selection, Evelity won the Accessibility challenge of the Transit Tech Lab.

Among the 650 startups that were selected for their innovation, Okeenea wins the challenge with Evelity! A wonderful opportunity to make our dream to export our app throughout the world including Great Britain a reality. We’ll tell you all about it.

The Luma tower, designed by architect Frank Gehry, located in the heart of the Parc des Ateliers in Arles (southern France), will open in spring 2021. Art producer Maja Hoffmann, patron of the project, aims to offer a unique and original experience to all visitors, including those living with a disability. To meet this challenge, Studios Architecture, in cooperation with Cogito Ergo Sum, selected our indoor wayfinding solution for all disabilities, Evelity.
